FAQ´s
Bogotá’s weather is similar all year long because it’s located in a geographic zone where seasons do not exist. During daylight, the temperature may vary between 10 and 20 degrees Celsius, while at night the temperature drops to 8 to 15 degrees. Bogotá is known to be a rainy/sunny city, so the best option is to layer up.
Check In from 3:00 p.m. Early check in subject to availability and may incurre in extra charge. Check out is until noon 12:00 p.m. Late check out can be requested subject to availability. The hotel reserves the right to charge 50% of the total room fee for departures after 3:00 p.m.
El Dorado International Airport is approximately 30-40 minutes away from Casa Legado. The amount of time may vary depending of the day and time of the week, and of course, it can go like any big city with daily traffic conditions.
Yes, we are happy to welcome your furry friend. We allow dogs up to 10 kilograms that are not considered to be of a potentially dangerous breed. Be sure to book one of our pet-friendly rooms and let us know so we can be prepared to give your furry friend all our love and surprises. A $25 cleaning fee will be charged per night
Break Fast – Our delicious breakfast is always included, and it changes every day so you can taste the different flavors of Colombia. It is served from 7am-10am. If you rather have breakfast in the room, we charge an additional $20.000 COP for room service.
Open Kitchen – Our Open Kitchen concept is thought out so you can feel like you are at home. Our pantry is stocked with snacks, nibbles, and soft drinks that are all included. Alcohol and our House Delights menu have an extra charge. Our kitchen is open from 11am to 9pm for guests.
Tea station – Self-service and always available and included in the rate.
The best option to move through the city is Uber. It is safer and usually has good availability. However, there are several ways to get around Bogota. You can use the bus system (SITP). Transmilenio tickets can be purchased at our closest station in K7 – Cl 71, and you can find the map and the directions in Google Maps. Please don’t hail taxis on the street, it is safer to order them via applications or by phone. We can also arrange hotel transfer services if you book at least 30 minutes in advance. We recommend using bicycles during Sunday’s Ciclovia since Bogotá has one of the most extensive bicycle paths in Latin America. Reserve our bikes in advance.
We advise you to download Rappi for anything you need delivered at the hotel.
Terms & Conditions
•1. Check In: from 3:00 p.m. Early check in: subject to availability. Arrivals after 10 pm: we kindly ask you to contact us prior to your arrival.
•2.Guests must provide the physical credit card of the reservation holder for hotel records; if the guest is not the cardholder, please contact us for information regarding the process to follow.
•3. Check out: until noon (12:00 p.m.) Late check out can be requested, subject to availability. The hotel reserves the right to charge 50% of the total room fee for departures after 3:00 p.m. Any consumption after 12:00 noon will be charged.
•4. Guest registration: for security reasons, only registered guests will be allowed in the rooms. Any guest must be registered before 10 pm. No unregistered visitors allowed after 10 pm.
•5. Early departure: an early departure fee of one night’s room and tax apply to guests checking out prior to the departure date confirmed at check-in.
•6. Reservations may be modified or canceled without penalty any time until 12 noon 20 days prior to arrival. In the case of late cancellation or no show, the hotel reserves the right to charge the 50% of the total value of stay. For non-refundable bookings, no cancellations are possible, and the guest can be charged a prepayment of the total stay value anytime.
•7. This hotel has a smoke-free policy throughout all public areas and bedrooms, including electronic cigarettes and vaporizers.
•8. No children under 4 are allowed.
•9. Dogs under 10 kg allowed (extra cost). Please ask for our dog-friendly rooms.
•10. Hotel insurance has a cost of $COP 9.000 per person/night, and it will be charged unless otherwise stated.
•11. We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage caused by the guest’s accidental, deliberate, negligent, or reckless act to the hotel’s property.
•12. If any inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention of the Manager, the hotel reserves the right to take action against the guest or the
guest may be asked to leave the hotel.
•13. We have a fully stocked honor bar. No alcoholic drinks are included in your rate. Should you prefer to bring your own liquor, we charge a $60,000 COP for uncorking.
